MOCAP

MOCAP – Yoga

My final piece from completing a 12-week intensive MOCAP course at Griffith University Film School. Work included planning, directing and capturing a series of movements of a performer. Chosen theme was Yoga. The initial takes were recorded, processed and cleaned up in Vicon Blade, then moved to Autodesk MotionBuilder, where the character was defined and retargeted to a character sourced from Mixamo, with adjustments made to suit the character geometry and environment. Hand poses were created manually, as were cameras and lighting for rendering and editing in Premiere Pro.This piece was created using Vicon Blade and Autodesk MotionBuilder, final piece edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.
